Zaditen

Zaditen (ketotifen hydrogen fumarate) is an ocular antihistamine used to relieve eye allergy symptoms. It works by blocking histamine receptors to reduce itching, redness, and swelling. Suitable for adults and children, it provides fast-acting relief for seasonal and environmental allergies.

Zaditen eye drops are commonly used to treat symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis, such as itchy, watery, or red eyes. It helps manage reactions triggered by pollen, dust, pet dander, or other environmental allergens. The medication is designed for short-term relief during allergy flare-ups.

Users often notice reduced eye itching and irritation within minutes of application. Relief from redness and swelling may take a short time to become noticeable. Some people experience mild stinging or burning at first, which usually fades quickly.

Keep the dropper tip clean and avoid touching the eye or surrounding areas to prevent contamination. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying Zaditen and wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting. Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy.

Zaditen is not known to interact significantly with other medications when used as directed. However, always inform your healthcare provider about all eye drops or oral medications you are using. Avoid combining with other eye medications unless advised by a professional.
