Xalof (Latanoprost) is an eye drop solution used to reduce high pressure in the eye, commonly associated with glaucoma or ocular hypertension. This prostaglandin analog helps maintain eye health by supporting fluid drainage. Suitable for adults and children under supervision.

Xalof (Latanoprost) is prescribed to lower intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor, the fluid inside the eye, to reduce pressure. This medication is often used when other treatments are ineffective or not tolerated. It may also be used off-label for other eye conditions as directed by a healthcare provider.

Xalof (Latanoprost) may cause a gradual change in eye color, with the iris becoming darker over time. Some users notice increased eyelash growth or mild irritation in the eye. These effects are generally cosmetic and not harmful. Temporary blurred vision or redness may occur after application but typically resolves quickly.

Store Xalof (Latanoprost) in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use to prevent contamination. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye, to reduce infection risk. Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy. Discard any remaining solution after the expiration date.

Xalof (Latanoprost) has minimal systemic absorption, reducing the risk of drug interactions. However, concurrent use of other eye medications should be spaced at least 5 minutes apart to prevent dilution. No significant interactions with oral medications have been reported, but inform your healthcare provider of all medications being used. Alcohol and certain supplements may rarely affect eye pressure.
