Vlepolin (Latanoprost) is primarily used to lower elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor, which helps prevent optic nerve damage. This medication is often prescribed when other treatments have not been effective. It is not a cure but helps manage the condition long-term.

Vlepolin (Latanoprost) may cause a gradual darkening of the iris, particularly in mixed-color eyes. Some users notice increased eyelash growth or mild eye redness. These effects are generally cosmetic and not harmful. Temporary blurred vision or stinging may occur after application but typically subsides quickly.

Store Vlepolin (Latanoprost) in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination. Discard the bottle 28 days after opening, even if some solution remains. Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy.

Vlepolin (Latanoprost) has a low risk of systemic drug interactions due to its localized application. However, concurrent use of other eye drops should be spaced at least 5 minutes apart to prevent dilution. Alcohol and certain medications may enhance drowsiness but do not directly interact with latanoprost. Always inform your doctor about all medications you are taking.
