Vizitrav (Travoprost) is an eye drop solution prescribed to lower intraocular pressure in conditions like glaucoma or ocular hypertension. This prostaglandin analog helps maintain eye health by supporting fluid drainage. Suitable for adults and seniors under medical supervision. Short-term use may cause mild eye discomfort.

Vizitrav (Travoprost) is primarily used to reduce elevated pressure inside the eye, which can occur in open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. By improving fluid outflow from the eye, it helps prevent vision loss over time. Patients often use it once daily, typically in the evening. It is not a cure but supports ongoing eye health management.

After application, Vizitrav may cause a temporary warm sensation or slight stinging in the eye. Some users notice darker or longer eyelashes over time due to the medication’s effect on lash growth. Blurred vision or mild redness can occur but usually resolves quickly. These effects vary by individual and are not experienced by everyone.

Store Vizitrav in a cool, dry place away from direct light and out of children’s reach. Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting. Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy. Consult a healthcare provider if irritation persists.

Vizitrav may interact with other eye medications, especially those containing preservatives like benzalkonium chloride. Using multiple eye drops should be spaced by at least 5 minutes to avoid dilution. Alcohol may increase eye dryness but does not directly interact with the medication.
