Vizibim

Vizibim (Bimatoprost) is an ocular solution prescribed for reducing intraocular pressure and treating glaucoma. This prostaglandin analog supports eye health by enhancing fluid drainage. Suitable for adults and children under medical supervision.

Vizibim is primarily used to lower elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It may also be prescribed to promote eyelash growth by increasing their length, thickness, and darkness. This medication works by improving fluid outflow from the eye, reducing pressure-related damage. It is not a cure but helps manage symptoms over time.

Vizibim typically begins to reduce eye pressure within a few hours of application. Users may notice gradual improvements in eyelash appearance, including longer, darker, and thicker lashes, after several weeks of consistent use. Some individuals experience mild eye redness or itching as the solution takes effect. These effects are usually temporary and diminish with continued use.

Store Vizibim at room temperature, away from direct light and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use to prevent contamination. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye, to reduce infection risk. Discard the bottle 4 weeks after opening to ensure sterility. Consult a healthcare provider before using if you have eye infections or recent eye surgery.

Vizibim may interact with other eye medications, especially those containing preservatives like benzalkonium chloride. Using multiple eye drops should be spaced at least 5 minutes apart to prevent dilution. Alcohol and certain systemic medications may enhance side effects like dizziness or dryness. Always inform your doctor about all medications and supplements you are taking.
