Veropol

Veropol is an inactivated poliovirus vaccine containing types 2 and 3 poliovirus strains for immunization against polio. It is administered via injection to help prevent poliomyelitis. This vaccine is suitable for individuals of all ages requiring polio protection.

Veropol is used to protect against poliomyelitis caused by poliovirus types 2 and 3. It is commonly administered as part of routine immunization schedules or for travel-related prophylaxis. The vaccine helps the body develop immunity to these poliovirus strains without causing the disease.

After administration, Veropol stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies against poliovirus types 2 and 3. Most recipients experience mild, temporary effects such as soreness at the injection site or mild fever. These are normal signs the body is building protection.

Veropol should be stored at 2–8°C and protected from light. It is for intramuscular or subcutaneous use only. Individuals with a known allergy to any component of the vaccine should not receive it. Always inform your healthcare provider of any allergies or medical conditions before vaccination.

Veropol may be administered with other vaccines, but separate injection sites and syringes should be used. Immunosuppressive therapies may reduce the vaccine’s effectiveness.
