Indocyanine Green is primarily used to visualize blood flow in the retina during fluorescein angiography. It also aids in assessing liver function by measuring hepatic blood flow and clearance rates. Verdye produces a green fluorescence when exposed to near-infrared light, enabling clear visualization of blood vessels.
