Vaqta Junior is an inactivated hepatitis A vaccine for children and adolescents. It helps protect against hepatitis A virus infection. Suitable for ages 12 months to 18 years. Administered via injection for immunity development.

Vaqta Junior is used to prevent hepatitis A virus infection in children and adolescents aged 12 months to 18 years. It stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies against the virus. This vaccine is recommended for those at risk of exposure or traveling to areas where hepatitis A is common. It does not treat existing infections.

After vaccination, the body’s immune response develops over time to provide protection. Common effects include mild soreness or redness at the injection site. Some may experience low-grade fever or fatigue shortly after administration. These effects are generally temporary and resolve on their own.

Store Vaqta Junior refrigerated between 2°C and 8°C (36°F and 46°F). Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children. Discard if the vaccine appears discolored or contains particles. Inform the healthcare provider of any allergies or previous reactions to vaccines.

Vaqta Junior may be given with other childhood vaccines, but separate injection sites are recommended. Immunosuppressive therapies or conditions may reduce vaccine effectiveness. Consult a healthcare provider if the recipient has a bleeding disorder or is taking blood thinners.
