Travofix is used to lower elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Travoprost promotes fluid drainage, while timolol reduces fluid production in the eye. This combination therapy is often prescribed when single-agent treatments are insufficient. It is not a cure but helps manage symptoms long-term.

Users may notice improved eye comfort and reduced pressure within weeks of consistent use. Travoprost can cause gradual darkening of the iris or eyelid skin in some individuals. Timolol may temporarily cause mild stinging or blurred vision upon application.
