Tobrom

Tobrom is an ophthalmic solution containing tobramycin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat eye infections. It works by stopping bacterial growth. Suitable for bacterial conjunctivitis and other ocular infections. Short-term use under medical supervision recommended.

Tobrom is used to treat bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, and blepharitis. It is prescribed for infections caused by susceptible bacteria, helping to reduce redness, swelling, and discharge. This medication is not effective against viral or fungal eye infections. Always consult a healthcare provider for proper diagnosis before use.

Tobrom helps reduce symptoms of eye infections by targeting bacteria responsible for inflammation. Users may notice a decrease in redness, irritation, and discharge as the infection clears. Temporary stinging or blurred vision may occur upon application. Improvement in symptoms is typically observed within a few days of consistent use.

Tobrom should only be used as directed by a healthcare professional. Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination. Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them. Do not share this medication with others. Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.

No significant drug interactions are known with Tobrom when used as prescribed. However, concurrent use of other eye medications should be spaced at least 5–10 minutes apart. Avoid using Tobrom with corticosteroids unless directed by a doctor, as this may mask infection symptoms. Always inform your healthcare provider about all medications you are using.
