Tobrasone is used to treat eye inflammation and bacterial infections such as conjunctivitis or keratitis. It combines a corticosteroid (dexamethasone) to reduce swelling and a broad-spectrum antibiotic (tobramycin) to fight bacteria. This combination helps relieve redness, swelling, and discomfort in the eye.

Users may notice reduced redness and swelling in the eye within a few days of starting Tobrasone. Some people experience temporary blurred vision or mild stinging after application, which usually subsides quickly.

Keep Tobrasone away from children and pets. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye, to avoid contamination. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting. Discard any remaining solution after completing the prescribed course.

Avoid using Tobrasone with other eye medications unless directed by a healthcare provider. Using multiple eye drops close together may reduce absorption of either medication. Alcohol does not directly interact with Tobrasone but may worsen dry eyes. Consult a doctor if you are using systemic steroids or other immunosuppressants.
