Tobradex is used to treat eye conditions caused by bacterial infections and inflammation. It combines an antibiotic (tobramycin) to fight bacteria with a steroid (dexamethasone) to reduce swelling and irritation. This medication is often prescribed for conditions like conjunctivitis (pink eye) or blepharitis. It works by targeting the infection while calming the eye’s response.
