Td-Immun is an adsorbed vaccine combining tetanus and diphtheria toxoids, designed to provide immunization against tetanus and diphtheria infections. This vaccine is commonly used for booster doses in adolescents and adults. Store between 2°C and 8°C to maintain potency.

Td-Immun is used to boost immunity against tetanus and diphtheria in individuals aged 7 years and older. It is commonly administered after primary vaccination or as a routine booster every 10 years. The vaccine helps prevent infections caused by Clostridium tetani and Corynebacterium diphtheriae. It is also used following exposure to tetanus-prone wounds.

After administration, Td-Immun stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies against tetanus and diphtheria toxins. Local reactions such as redness, swelling, or mild pain at the injection site may occur. Some individuals may experience mild systemic effects like low-grade fever or fatigue.

Td-Immun should be handled with care to avoid contamination or improper storage. Keep the vaccine refrigerated between 2°C and 8°C and protect it from light. Do not freeze. Ensure the recipient is not allergic to any component of the vaccine. Administer with caution to individuals with a history of severe allergic reactions to previous doses.

Concurrent use with immunosuppressive therapies may reduce the vaccine's effectiveness. Avoid administering Td-Immun to individuals receiving high-dose corticosteroids or other immunosuppressive drugs. No significant interactions with common medications like antibiotics or antipyretics have been reported, but consult a healthcare provider for personalized advice.
