Targocid

Targocid (Teicoplanin) is an antibiotic medication used to treat bacterial infections. It belongs to the glycopeptide class and works against gram-positive bacteria. Commonly prescribed for skin infections, bone infections, and pneumonia. Suitable for adults and children.

Teicoplanin is primarily used to treat serious bacterial infections caused by gram-positive organisms. It is often prescribed for skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, and lower respiratory tract infections. The medication may also be used for infections that are resistant to other antibiotics, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
