Tamoxan (Tamoxifen Citrate) is an oral medication used in hormone therapy for breast cancer treatment and risk reduction. This non-steroidal antiestrogen helps manage estrogen-sensitive conditions. Suitable for adults under medical supervision.

Tamoxan is primarily used to treat and reduce the risk of breast cancer in individuals with estrogen receptor-positive tumors. It may also be prescribed for ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) following surgery. The medication works by blocking estrogen receptors in breast tissue, slowing cancer cell growth. It is not used for hormone replacement therapy.
