Spasmalgon

Spasmalgon combines pitofenone, fenpiverinium bromide and metamizole sodium to relieve pain and muscle spasms. This intramuscular injection is used when oral relief is not suitable. Suitable for adults and adolescents over 15 years.

Spasmalgon is used to ease moderate pain linked to muscle spasms, such as colic, menstrual cramps or post-surgical discomfort. It may also help with tension-type headaches when spasms are involved. Always follow local guidance on when this treatment is appropriate.

After intramuscular injection, Spasmalgon typically starts to ease discomfort within 15–30 minutes. Users often report reduced cramping and a general sense of relief as the combined ingredients take effect. Effects can last several hours, but individual responses vary.

Keep the product in its original packaging below 25 °C and away from children. Do not use if the solution is discoloured or contains particles. Anyone with known allergies to any listed ingredient should avoid this product.

Alcohol and other central nervous system depressants may increase drowsiness when used with Spasmalgon. Caution is advised if taking medicines that affect liver enzymes or blood pressure, as interactions are possible. Always tell your healthcare professional about all medicines you are using.
