Ofloxacin (Унифлокс) is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the ears and eyes. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This medication is available as ear and eye drops for local application. Always follow the directions provided by your healthcare professional.

Ofloxacin ear and eye drops are used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria. For ear infections, it helps relieve symptoms like pain, swelling, and discharge. For eye infections, it treats conditions such as conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers. This medication is not effective against viral or fungal infections.

When applied as directed, ofloxacin drops typically reduce symptoms of infection within a few days. Users may notice less redness, swelling, or discharge in the affected area. Some people experience mild stinging or discomfort upon application, which usually subsides quickly.

Keep the dropper tip clean and avoid touching it to any surface to prevent contamination. Do not share this medication with others. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them. Store the drops at room temperature away from moisture and heat.

Ofloxacin is for topical use only and has minimal systemic absorption, so interactions with other medications are unlikely. However, if you are using other eye or ear medications, wait at least 5–10 minutes between applications. Avoid using other products in the same area unless directed by a healthcare provider.
