Catiolanze

Catiolanze is an ophthalmic solution containing latanoprost, used to reduce intraocular pressure in conditions like glaucoma. This medication is designed for ocular use and is manufactured by Santen Oy in the EU.

Catiolanze is primarily used to lower elevated intraocular pressure in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Latanoprost, the active ingredient, works by improving the outflow of aqueous humor from the eyes. This helps to manage conditions where pressure inside the eye is too high, potentially causing damage to the optic nerve.

Common effects of Catiolanze may include temporary blurred vision, eye redness, or mild irritation immediately after application. Some users might experience changes in eyelash growth or darkening of the eyelid. These effects are generally mild and temporary, but persistent issues should be discussed with a healthcare provider.

Catiolanze should be used strictly as directed for ocular use only. Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting. Store the solution at room temperature and keep it out of reach of children.
