Анталерг eye drops are used to relieve symptoms of seasonal or environmental eye allergies, such as itching, redness, and watering. It works by blocking histamine receptors in the eyes, providing relief from common allergic reactions like hay fever or pet dander exposure.

Users often notice reduced eye itching and irritation within minutes of application. The drops may temporarily cause mild stinging or a bitter taste, which typically subsides quickly. Some people experience clearer vision shortly after use as discomfort diminishes.

Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use to prevent contamination. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye, to reduce infection risk. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying and wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting.

No significant drug interactions have been widely reported with azelastine eye drops. However, other eye medications should be used at least 5–10 minutes apart to avoid dilution effects. Alcohol may enhance drowsiness if systemic absorption occurs, though this is uncommon.
