Адасел Полио is used to prevent diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough) and poliomyelitis (polio) in individuals aged 3 years and older. It is commonly administered as a booster dose to maintain immunity in adolescents and adults. The vaccine stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies against these diseases without causing the illnesses themselves.

After vaccination with Адасел Полио, the body begins producing antibodies to protect against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and poliomyelitis. Mild local reactions such as redness or swelling at the injection site may occur. Some individuals may experience general effects like mild fever or fatigue in the days following vaccination.

Keep Адасел Полио refrigerated between 2°C and 8°C and protect from light. Do not freeze. Before use, inspect the vial for particles or discoloration; discard if present. Ensure the patient has no history of severe allergic reactions to previous doses or components of this vaccine. Administer with caution to individuals with bleeding disorders or those receiving anticoagulant therapy.

Concurrent administration with other vaccines is generally acceptable, but separate injection sites should be used. Immunosuppressive therapies may reduce the vaccine’s effectiveness. Avoid administering live vaccines within 4 weeks before or after this vaccine unless medically advised. Always inform healthcare providers of all medications and conditions before vaccination.
