Бустрикс is an adsorbed diphtheria toxoid vaccine containing aluminium phosphate and hydroxide adjuvants. This immunisation helps protect against diphtheria by stimulating the body’s immune response. Suitable for adults and children as part of routine vaccination schedules. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Бустрикс is used to provide active immunisation against diphtheria in individuals aged 6 weeks and older. The vaccine works by prompting the immune system to produce protective antibodies without causing the disease itself. It is commonly administered as part of primary vaccination series or booster doses. People travelling to regions where diphtheria is prevalent may also receive this vaccine.

After vaccination, the body begins building immunity to diphtheria over several weeks. Some recipients may experience mild soreness, redness, or swelling at the injection site. A low-grade fever or general tiredness can occur shortly after immunisation. These effects are typically brief and resolve without intervention.

Keep the vaccine refrigerated between 2°C and 8°C and protect it from freezing. Do not use if the vial is damaged or the liquid appears discoloured. Inform the healthcare provider of any allergies, fever, or immune system conditions before receiving the vaccine. Ensure proper disposal of used syringes and needles.

Concurrent use with other vaccines may be possible, but spacing is often recommended to observe individual responses. Immunosuppressive therapies or conditions may reduce vaccine effectiveness. Live vaccines should generally be avoided within a short timeframe before or after receiving Бустрикс unless medically advised.
